I chose to keep a pose of him getting up and running into the camera, b/c he is into everything and will not sit still. I want to remember that about him forever. When he reached the photographer he put his fingers all over the camera to "work on it"!

Well, today marks Ian's very first full day in the toddler room at day care. I think the entire Infant room staff and myself took it much harder than he did. He LOVES the Tod's! Ian was beginning to be a buly to the other babies in the infant room, taking thier passies running holding it high in the air like "HAHA, it's MINE now, you imovabable one!" Yeah, he was bored in there for about the last two weeks. Now the babies in the infant room are safe.
Ian is the smallest toddler in his next class. Yesterday during his two hour play date with the Tods, Ian was being pushed around by another bored child who is moving to the next step room (Almost Two's). He is much bigger than Ian. Miss Jennifer said that Ian waited patiently until (I will call him Bigger Boy) Bigger Boy was done picking on him. then when Bigger Boy turned his attention to someone else, Ian walked up to him (from behind of course) and gave him the hardest shove he could. Now, while I don't condone pushing people from the front or the back, I laughed when I heard this, but then of course asking if Bigger Boy was okay. He was. He he. So on the way home we had to discuss how it's not nice to push people and be mean to others even if they are not being nice to us. We must love and be kind to all people just like God is kind and loves all people. Then we sang ' Noah's Arky Arky' Song.

Monday we went to the doctor for Ian's 12 month well check. He weighs 18.5 pounds and is in the 4th% of his age group - my little bitty guy!

Tonight we went to Target to do some Christmas shopping. This is something that Brian and I both love to do, shop for other people. It was so much fun! I think because I don't get out much let alone spend money, so I was on a high for about 2 hours! Brian kept putting toys for Ian in the buggy, and I kept taking them out. An older couple watched and laughed at us, I guess they went threw that too. I think Brian forgot we weren't there for Ian.

Wednesday Ian and I stayed home. I missed my Fellowship class (AGAIN), Brian had to work and I didn't have a sitter. Taking Ian was OUT OF THE QUESTION, that child could get dirt dirty!

Sorry about the inconsistantcy of this blog, it's how I think alot of the time. Well, lately anyway.
